Commercial Property Stormwater Maintenance — Vancouver, WA
Riparia Environmental was contacted by a commercial property management company to provide annual stormwater infrastructure inspection and maintenance services for two of their commercial warehouse sites.
Riparia Environmental crew mobilized to each site and performed routine infrastructure cleaning and concurrent inspection of catch basins, filter vaults, trench drains, and stormwater manholes onsite. Riparia crews noticed several catch basins at deteriorating grout or other defects associated with them, these were noted in the inspection report that was provided to the customer as well as an estimated cost to perform the repairs.
The property management customer wanted to be proactive in maintaining the deteriorating structures and approved the grout repairs on several of the catch basins and manholes. Riparia crews then dispatched out to the site again and performed the recommended repairs, improving the overall health and function of the stormwater system.
Because of this routine annual cleaning and Riparia’s detailed inspection report, the property management company was able to identify issues before they got worse – protecting their clients investment as well as the water quality of the region as a whole. Riparia continues to service these sites on an annual basis and proactively manage additional repairs as they come up.
